1. What are your Sunday services like?

Each Sunday at The Tree of Life you’ll find a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with exciting, contemporary worship music. Children are well-cared for in a loving, quality Nursery and fun-filled Tree House Kids service.

2. What will happen when I visit for the first time?

If you are visiting for the first time, we won’t embarrass you, have you stand up, or ask you to give money. We know that many people want to check out the church and be anonymous for a while—and that’s fine with us! Come in, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, and see if this is the church for you. We do have a gift for you: just drop by our Information Desk when you are leaving—short, sweet, easy. Be sure to come early and enjoy our complimentary donuts and coffee!

3. What about my children?

At The Tree of Life Church, your children are a top priority. Our Nursery is clean, safe, and staffed with loving workers. We offer a dynamic children’s ministry called Tree House Kids as well as life-changing ministry to students grade 6 – 12. We do ask, should you opt to bring your child into the adult worship service, that you be prepared to step out into the lobby should your child start to cry or otherwise be a distraction to others trying to worship.

4. What do I wear to attend your services?

You’ll find everything from casual clothes to business suits at our Weekend Service. Come in what is comfortable for you, because The Tree is not about what you look like or what you wear.

5. Is it okay if my phone rings during church?

We ask that you kindly turn off or silence your phone during worship as a courtesy to those around you who are trying to worship in the house of God.

6. How can I meet others and get connected?

There are several ways to get involved. You can begin by attending our Growth Track the first four Sundays of each month. You can come to any of the Growth Track sessions; you don’t need to complete them in a certain order. When you’ve attended all four sessions of the Growth Track, we’ll help find your place at the Tree, should you desire to serve. Serving is one of the best ways to get plugged in to the Tree and get to know others. Small groups, called Life Groups at the Tree, are another great way to connect and provide a safe place where you can build friendships, learn more about the life of our church, and have the opportunity to grow in your faith.

7. How can I be discipled and grow?

Our desire is to see you become a fully-devoted follower of Christ. Our Growth Track offers the tools necessary to make this happen in your life. From the initial decision to accept Jesus as your Lord to your involvement in life-changing ministry, we will lead you step-by-step from healing to growth and into leadership.

8. Why do you have small groups?

Our Life Groups are an important part of The Tree of Life Church; in fact, you haven’t fully experienced the church until you’re involved in our small groups. Groups allow you to meet other members and develop relationships that will spur your relationship with God. As The Tree grows, groups allow us to stay small and connected. Groups are available for all ages and interests—there’s bound to one that’s just right for you. Learn more about why we’re big on small groups by visiting our online directory or picking up a Life Groups Guide in the lobby.

9. How can I get involved in a Life Group?

One of the easiest things to do at The Tree is to participate in a Life Group. Groups meet throughout the week and provide a place for Bible study, fellowship, and support. Check out our online directory and visit a group this week.
